I’m Mandy. For as long as I can remember I have been enamored with our world, its beauty, and its people.

I love meeting people and making new friends. The first time I met my neighbor, while out in my yard, I introduced myself and promptly invited him over for dinner. I was 3 years old, y’all. We’ve been friends ever since.

Exploration has taken me many places. From climbing mountains in Colorado and volcanoes in Guatemala; to 3-week whitewater trips through the Grand Canyon and paragliding in Central America; to rock climbing, mountain biking, and backpacking in my home state of Tennessee, adventure is always high on my priority list. I was a whitewater trip leader for a decade. I feel most like myself in nature, and I’m more at home in the woods than
a city.

I started photographing my friends in high school and haven’t put the camera down since. I launched my career by exploring different aspects of photography, from on location shoots for companies like Lululemon and Rustic House Candles to photography for restaurants like The Flying Squirrel. I also have a bachelor of fine arts degree with a concentration in photography.

During photo sessions, I don’t force moments. I guide you through interactions that allow for the candid moments and genuine smiles to happen naturally. Many of my clients say their photo session felt more like a fun adventure than a photo shoot. The result is an enjoyable experience and natural images that you will love.

My intention is for your photo album to end up on your coffee table because you’re so damn proud of it. I honestly can’t wait to meet you, too.
